Integrated HSEQ Management System (IMS)

Health, Safety, Environment and Quality are the basic elements and in the prime importance for the continuous success of the business strategy of SUPERIOR OILFIELD SERVICES in providing high-specialized services to the Oil and Gas Industry through the continual improvement of the HSEQ Management System.

The SUPERIOR Integrated HSEQ Management System (IMS) has been developed to provide detailed information and resources required to effectively manage health, safety, environment, and quality. All the relevant policies and objectives are defined and clearly stated. The organizational structure and associated responsibilities for all parts of the business are highlighted, and the arrangements put in place (e.g. standards, procedures, rules & regulations) to ensure that all policies are implemented, controlled, monitored and improved as required.
The implementation of and compliance with the IMS is the responsibility of all personnel. The manual provides the means of enabling everyone to fulfill that responsibility and meet the specified HSEQ objectives.
The scope of the HSEQ Management System covers the organization, responsibilities, accountabilities, authorities, procedures, methods and resources to achieve and maintain a HSEQ of service in accordance with the policy and objectives of the company.

ISO 9001 -2008

Superior has adopted a Quality Management System (QMS) to document its approach in identifying and managing HSEQ and operational risks. Our QMS provides an umbrella for a multidisciplinary effort including senior management, training, administration, human resources, engineering, technical services and the HSEQ team

ISO 14001 -2004

The current quarterly and previous year’s result of safety performance including Lost Time Incidents (LTI), Total recordable incident Rates (TRIR), and recordable Vehicle Incidents revealed that, Superior is complying with HSE Standards and regulations in the Middle East.

OHSAS 18001 -2007

HSE Management Principles

SUPERIOR has based the HSE & Quality Integrated Management System on the principles contained within the recognized international standards ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems, OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems. SUPERIOR recognizes that the HSE and Quality Management Systems must have mutually compatible aims and objectives. Rather than functioning on a stand-alone basis their close inter-relationship forms an integral part of the overall company management system.
The IMS has also been designed and developed in accordance with the HSE management principles put forward by the major operating companies, in particular, the principles of Enhanced Safety Management. This relationship between the HSE related standards and ESM provides the common management system principles, which are fundamental to SUPERIOR achieving its specified HSE related objectives, promoting effective management and the development of the foundation of a safety culture within the company, which provides the necessary environment and motivation required by all concerned parties.
The Integrated Management System allows SUPERIOR to apply and implement the principles in a structured manner, detailing the practical HSEQ arrangements, which have been put in place to enable line management to fulfill their responsibilities.
